[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this razor. It has a nice weight in the hand. I feel like that weight helps to steady it as you're using it. As an aside, I also appreciate The all cardboard packaging. Much less wasteful. I found that it's claims to be less irritating or true. And I appreciated the addition of a trimmer on the top side of the blade. Once I was done everything was very smooth, I had not cut myself, and the redness usually accompanying razor use in the area was not there. I will definitely continue to use this product, and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually happy with Gillette venus products but this one disappointed a little. It worked. But for a brand new razor I had to go over the same spots multiple times in order to shave the area. It's ok but its just ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looked very impressive right out of the package...I liked the comfort of the handle and the placement of the blades.. I also liked the trimmerfeatures on this razor. However, it only works ok on well-maintained underarms and legs(thinner hair). On your pubic areas, the hair needs to be very short to non-existent. The trimmer blades on the back work ok for the trimming of bikini area, but the main blades are not strong enough for the undersides(labial areas). I quite literally wound up finishing my "landscaping" with another razor because the guards on this just do not seem to let the razor get close enough to remove the stubble. Was pretty disappointed, because I normally love Venus products and was expecting much better performance on this item.

It has sharp blades that do not cut into the skin easily due to the irritation defense bar on it. The razor is very soft on the skin and left my skin looking and feeling smooth. The Gillette Venus Razor comes with an additional cartridge( 2 cartridges total). The blade itself is made from good quality materials and is strong when holding it.

However it takes many passes to get that smooth skin to work. I felt like there was a lot more work going into it. I guess I'll take the less irritated skin though after all is said and done. So yay for skin but boo for time.

I'll love how the razor itself has two different places on it. One for your legs and underarms and wherever else you shave. And then one razor on the top to shave the the other area. Not as sharp as I thought it would be but it's still an amazing razor. Better than any other razor I have used!!
