If dealing with ingrown hairs or razor burn, this razor can be helpful. It is designed to remove the hair while remaining slightly away from your skin. You can get a closer shave if you choose but it is just that, a choice! I found this razor to work well for preparing to get in a bathing suit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Venus for Pubic hair is nice razor to shave those sensitive areas, I was afraid of getting scratched or a rash like I usually would with others razors, but I'm glad this one was really good and felt really smooth afterwards. I use an oil meant for that area as well.

The blade size and shape of the razor's blade cartridge makes it easy to control. The packaging color and design are easy to read. Extra points for recyclable paperboard packaging, though it would be nice if the packaging materials could be further minimized to reduce waste. I will definitely buy the refills for this razor - it works so much better than the cheapie blades I've been using.
