This razor provides a cleaner and smoother shave! The difference is like a night and day. For coarser hair, this razor is really better suited. I won't ever use a traditional razor to shave my bikini area again. This razor is also well balanced, feels solid and looks great. Overall, I've been very happy with it.

Very gentle on the private areas and leaves no bumps. Smooth glide, doesn't even feel like you're shaving. I use their other shavers but this one is top of the line. I highly recommend!!!!

I used it on my under arms and didn't have to run it across my skin a hundred times to still have stubborn stubble that just won't leave. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was a great fit for me! The simple handle was not bulky which was able to provide great maneuvability and handle. There is a silicone part of the handle that helps a lot with grip. The blade provides a close shave without friction. It is very efficient when it comes to avoiding razor burn in a very sensitive area. I love that it comes with 1 refill blade seeing as how the coarse hairs of the area in question can easily wear out the blades.

I was pleased with how gently this razor removed hair without irritating sensitive skin.

I appreciate the Irritation Defense Bar helps keep the razor burn at a minimum and the precision trimmer helps get into those stubborn areas. Nice handle and easy to hold/work with.

I love the heavy handle, it makes it easy to navigate curves without it slipping and causing me to knick myself, which I prone to do. I haven't cut myself once with this razor, which for me is a record! The way the head moves it makes it easy to get into areas that I sometimes struggle with getting smooth such as the bikini area. I've never been brand or type specific with my razor choices before because I assumed they were all pretty much the same but I was definitely wrong. This is my new go to razor as the shave is far superior than with any other razor I've tried before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Gillette Venus for Pubic Hair and Skin, Women's Razor Handle + 2 Blade Refills and its a great razor. I felt this was gentle on my skin while shaving. I mostly just shave body and pubic hair so this worked great for me. I feel its a high quality razor. I also love that they reduced the amount of plastic used in the packaging. The box and interior container were both paper based so are recycleable. The razor itself still has some plastic parts which I hope they change to something more sustainable in the future (such as metal). Overall, I love the Gillette Venus brand and this razor fits quite well with my already positive opinion of the brand. I like that the razor blades are sharp and help me shave with few nicks. This is a great razor! I highly recommend it!
