[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so the this razor is super gentle for that areas down there. With that being said I do not recommend this in hair which isn't short. The blade is sharp but not sharp enough to constantly be cutting through longer hair.

I get bumps easily and typically need a creamy body wash or shaving cream to prevent bumps or problems when shaving. this area on a women is very sensitive. I have always thought that Venus was a really great brand and inferior to other brands. I had no irritation from this shaver but did not find for the location on the body that it did a great job. I had to shave over the same small spot a few times. I did try this on my legs also and found it to work well. I will add some other pros that I love that the handle on this is great and easy to hold onto in the shower. I also love the pearl color of this it is so feminine and I like the personal unique look to this razor! Venus always makes fun brands.

It's designed to maneuver easily and with tight turns. The defense bar provides a nice, soft protection. This razor gives a very close shave without worry of nicks or abrasions!
