It claims to have a Patented Irritation Defense Bar. It works! I had no irritation issues at all! The Precision Trimmer on the back of the blades to help with your "tricky areas" is a game changer! I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this shaver! Like I said I will continue to use this from now one!

I decided to give the Gillette Venus for Pubic Hair and Skin and I started slowly using it. Once done I realized how it did work and how it did not pull and there was no pain. I will continue to use it and I have to also say that the colors are so nice that it looks so nice in the shower.

It glided smoothly and gave a close shave without getting nicks and cuts.The best part was that I used it two days in a row and didn't get bumps, which is unheard of for me. I do wish it was designed differently to shave in crevices and such. It is basically shaped liked a regular razor.

Will use this often just buy the blades.

It comes with an extra refill head and stores easily for everyday use. The handle is a shaped grooved texture to avoid slipping out of your hands. Leaves a smooth clean irritation free shave for all those hard to reach areas. Great job Venus!
