The regular ones do the job but it takes some effort and time. I'm blown away at how little effort I had to use to get the expected results when I used this. My skin was super smooth and surprisingly no bumps or burns came up post shave. I like how it has a trimmer type piece on the back of the razor to work along with it. The barrier strip is helpful. I like that the handle is the right size with grips and the razor head pivots to give you more versatility. It comes with 2 extra heads and for the price, it's an amazing addition to my routine.

But most of that is because I haven't been happy with past razors. This Gillette Venus razor was so nice to use and gave me a nice clean shave on my legs. Definitely using this brand from now on.

Thought I would give this razor a try. I was very impressed with the result. I had very little to no rash after using it. Love thr angle of the handle as well. The handles grip well and the material helps keep from slipping. The shaving strips are sharp and give you a nice clean shave. I also like that the irritation bars seem slightly raised so they don't pull on the hair. I highly recommend these, Venus makes great, quality products.

It creates a smooth shave, and is smaller than a regular razor which helps around your thighs and curves. It's a little heavier than a regular razor but it's a good weight. Great product

I have always struggled when shaving my bikini line. I got the Gillette Venus Razor. I was amazed at how closely it shaved my skin. It left my skin feeling smooth, and I did not get any bumps or rash, as I sometimes have before when shaving such a sensitive bares. I will definitely buy this product again!

The top portion or head seems retractable because it moves while shaving. I like that the shaving stick glides smoothly on the skin while doing a clean job. On the other hand, I did have to repeat the steps more that once to get that clean result. It was easy to use, and also easy to clean. In addition, I did not experience any cuts in the shaving process. I used this Gillette Venus shaving stick all over my body.
