It also helps a lot with frizz control. I recommend that you let it act for 2 or 3 minutes so that its hydration penetrates better

It is labeled with a light rose essence. The scent is actually very nice. I smell more fruit than rose, and I generally don't prefer a rose scent. It cleans like how I expect a shampoo to clean. Foams well, rinses well. I appreciate the omission of silicones. A very nice and affordable shampoo.
