While the shampoo cleanses, this especially targets tangles and frizz. It has a rich, creamy consistency that glides through my hair easily. A little goes a long way. It shares that iconic roses hips scent, but it feels a bit more velvety. The scent lingers on my hair for a full 24hrs. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and easy to brush through. It gives that smooth/lisse effect promised on the bottle without weighing down my natural volume.

I love that this product leaves my hair feeling very clean (cleaner than many high end ones I’ve used) but does leave my hair smooth. It was clean without that squeaky clean, feel which I prefer. I loved the scent though it isn’t a purchasing factor for me. I was impressed by how nice the shampoo is since it’s been years since I’ve used a drug store shampoo (or shampoo under 10 dollars). It has a nice consistency that is not creamy but still softens hair. It rinses out very nicely- there was no residue at all and it didn’t leave any build up. The packaging dispenses the right amount of product. I will be purchasing when I run out - I can see this replacing higher end products.

Using the two helped keep my hair smelling good all day. The conditioner is light and creamy. I applied it to my ends and left it in for a few minutes before rinsing it out. My hair felt soft and easier to brush through but my hair kept tangling throughout the day. The conditioner only helped make my hair feel less dry after shampooing.

It has a soft, rosy fragrance that feels fresh and pleasant during wash, and that was my favorite part of using it. Unfortunately, the formula itself didn’t work well for my hair. After a first use, my hair felt noticeably dry, and my scalp became itchy, which made it uncomfortable to continue using. I have a normal scalp and hair type, and for me this shampoo felt too stripping. I can see it potentially working better for someone with a very oily scalp, but for normal hair it may be overly drying. Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend it
