It lathers well and leaves hair clean and shiny. Sadly, it’s not right for my hair. It didn’t give enough moisture and made my hair feel a bit dry. Love the smell, but not the formula for me.

My hair didnt feel soft at all and lots of squeakiness after rinsing. I didn’t like that feeling at all, even the Eucalyptus line which helps with scalp balance is nourishing then this Rose line. But what I am most disappointed in was the color dye that they used to put in this shampoo, there’s not 1 but 3 different colors dye ( Red 33, Yellow 5, and Blur 1) needed for this shampoo. I don’t understand why color is ever needed besides making the shampoo look “nicer”. I prefer clear with no color dye in my shampoo if I have to choose. I hope they can revise the ingredients and maybe make it clear instead.

I used this a handful of times before I reviewed to get a true feel, and it does a great job removing all the gunk and oils from your hair, however, you need a solid conditioner to balance out the dryness it gives to your hair afterwards. I love that it looks cute but actually works. Now something important, I have fine, straight hair that tends to look flat and oily. And honestly feel like this conditioner was made for that. It gave me shine without weighing my hair down or making feel greasy and that the key for me… I also noticed it helps control frizz, leaves my hair feeling softer, and most importantly, it’s way easier to detangle without feeling like I’m breaking my hair. And the scent, it has a soft floral smell with hints of rose. It’s very light, and my hair smells so good after… i love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a classic shampoo in the 90s. However, in the early 2000s the formula changed and it would dry my hair a lot. I had to change shampoos. However the new formula is much better. A single application made my hair moist, luscious and vibrant. The shampoo is lite and smells great. Its a strong floral scent that is noy overpowering. Also it detangles my hair. All in all im a fan again of herbal essences. Even the packaging and texture is best
