It smells good, absorbs nicely, and rinses easily. Doesn’t seem to leave any residue or build up. I don’t see any noticeable difference to shine when I use it. It leaves my hair soft-ish. I probably don’t recommend using with colored hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i will buy anything rose scented!!! i love the smell of this conditioner, and i think it conditions pretty well- my hair is super super flat when i use this and it doesn’t do me any favors for volume lol but it definitely defangles and smells good. also if you follow curly girl method this is an approved product. no parabens and no silicones.

I have seborrheic dermatitis, fine hair w oily scalp, if I dont wash my hair for even a day, my hair looks limp like a cow licked it. With this Herbal essense, my hair had body and strength even after 2 days of not washing, scalp not as oily, twice less and the need to put on leave in conditioner is much lesser, does not tangle as much. And the light scent is like a nice topping at the end.

But this here has changed my mind completely. The formula and ingredients in the product have came a long way since the early 2000's. The smell is refreshing rose with a slight sweet undertone. My hair feels silky and soft and has incredible shine! I absolutely love this and will recommend to clients in the future!
