It works well on tangled hair. My hair gets very tangled and knotted. I don't feel my hair is oily after using the conditioner.

The fragrance is my favorite and takes me back to my childhood as this was the nicest shampoo/conditioner out there. It doesn’t smell like roses (which is a good thing bc it smells so much better!), but the name is a little misleading. The conditioner works great. I don’t need much, I use it on my ends and then work my way up and rinse with cold water. This makes it so my hair doesn’t get greasy
