The downside is that I don’t like shampoos that have silicones and because this shampoo and conditioner is in the less expensive side it does have a more greasy feels to it like later in the day into the next morning I feel. It’s mostly good for the smell and affordability.

I can safely say herbal essence is totally safe and it even brought some life back into my hair. It smells amazing on top of that, I love rose scents so I’m biased. The conditioner has a smooth texture that spreads easily through my thick hair, and the absorption felt really nice because it did not sit at the top of my hair. After rinsing my scalp was very clean and felt less drying. I noticed it gave my hair a bit of volume while still feeling lightweight. The scent is very pleasant! I love it!!

Has a thick but not heavy consistency and made the rinsing out fairly easy. As far as the performance, I did pair this with the herbal essence, smooth Rose hips shampoo I don’t know for sure whether it is the shampoo or the conditioner, but my hair was left after a couple hours feeling more dry than usual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences Rose Hips Smooth Shampoo has a nice thick consistency and lathers nicely! I found it rinsed out fairly well, however it did cause my sensitive scalp to become a little flaky and dry. It worked as intended however I couldn’t stand the scent. Due to it not agreeing with my scalp, it’s not a product I would recommend for others with a sensitive or dandruff prone scalp.
