It still smells amazing, and most importantly, it works! My hair had been so frizzy due to being in the pool a lot and it really helped to de-frizz and make my hair nice and smooth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences Smooth Shampoo leaves a rose scent that fills the shower. The rose scent does not last long on the hair when it dries. It is not as strong as the old formula in lasting fragrance compared to when it came out many years ago and is slightly different in scent. I had to use 3 pumps of shampoo to get enough lather for my long hair and scalp areas. There was no itchiness or irritation. It left zero residue when rinsed out. I feel it does a good job to clarify my hair and scalp and removing oiliness. I loved how shiny and straighter it made my hair when it dried. Feels a lot softer too. I can use this alone without the conditioner and my hair still looks softer and shiny. This very large size bottle I think will last me many months, which makes it worth the value you would pay.
