I didn't have any issues with the pump which was great. The shampoo lathered up nicely and rinsed out well without leaving any residue, although at times I felt like I needed to double wash- like it didn't fully cleanse the first time. I'm not sure if it's due to the fragrance oils or what, but I did notice my hair would look fairly oily/greasy the next day after use whereas other shampoo's wouldn't cause that. So I feel like I need to wash my hair more often with the Rose Hip Shampoo.
