[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Herbal Essences brings me back to the 90’s in such a good way! Smelling this as I washed and conditioned my hair was such a great experience. I had forgotten how much I loved their scents. The Rose Hips scent (the pink bottles that I’m reviewing) and the Chamomile I believe (yellow bottles) were my favorite growing up. When people see Herbal Essences, a lot think ‘cheap’ equals not good, but holy cow! My hair was less tangled, smoother, and smelled amazing! I was using a higher priced brand before and now I’m realizing Herbal Essences works better. I have to add extra product after the shower to detangle with the higher priced stuff, but I was able to comb my hair just fine after using the Smooth Rose Hips. 10/10 recommend.

I love the thicker consistency-it coats & hangs onto my hair, allowing time to penertrate & hydrate my hair. The lather is amazing & absolutely luxurious! It deeply moisturizes my hair, makes it much less fizzy, makes my hair feel soft & smooth without weighing it down or leaving any film. The scent smells so feminine, floral & incredible! It sticks with me throughout the day, giving me lovely wafts of delicate perfume. It's not overly rosey smelling at all. There is excellent value with this because of the high quality & affordable price.

It gets super sudsy when you are washing your hair and it leaves my hair feeling really clean. I also love that you can still smell the scent of the shampoo even after blow-drying your hair. This is still a great bargain shampoo.

When applied, the hair acquires that "slippery" texture that allows you to easily run your fingers or a wide-tooth comb through it. It is a light cream, not too thick, which makes it very easy to distribute from mid-lengths to ends without leaving the hair "heavy" or feeling greasy.

Would I say that it’s fixing my damaged hair no, honestly I’ve pretty healthy hair. I don’t dye it. I might blow dry it a couple times a week but that’s it. Does it condition hair make and make it feel good, yes. Does it make my hair smell good, yes. Overall I’ll get a solid 4. It brings me back to my teen years, which I love and the sent is just heavenly.
