[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could give zero stars, I would. The scent of this product is so overwhelming it’s obnoxious. You can taste it in your mouth. It was irritating to my eyes as well. It feels just like any other shampoo. Nothing special at all. It left my hair feeling stripped. Did not make my hair any more manageable. It felt like it did the opposite. Rinses out like any other shampoo.

I will say i have naturally 4C hair so this product wasn’t marketed towards my hair type but i love to use the product on all of my wigs

It feels so high-end and not watery at all which helps me coat every strand for maximum hydration. The iconic floral sent Is a 10/10. It’s a luscious bouquet of roses with hints of apple and lily that lingers for over 24 hours, it’s like a perfume for your hair. While it’s a conditioner, it does not lather like a soap. It has an incredible “slip” and spreading ability which makes it melt into tangles instantly. It also rinses out cleanly and effortlessly. There is no waxy or cakey residue left behind, just weightless squishy hair! It is also remarkably gentle on the scalp, because it’s a mineral free and pH balance it doesn’t leave my scalp feeling heavy, greasy or itchy. It doesn’t cost a buildup of roots, which makes it safe for people with sensitive skin.

I have always liked Herbal Essence, hair products, their budget, friendly, and good quality. Rose Hips Smooth Conditioner is the same quality I expected. The conditioner has a nice, rich feel to it that washes out clean. The scent is pleasant. I did notice my hair was a bit smoother after using this conditioner so it lives up to its claim. Recommended.

Smells amazing and suds up nicely but that's about it. My hair is still frizzy and wild, with split ends like no other. No smoothing happened of any kind. I didn't expect hair like the commercials but at least meet me half way, nope.
