Growing up in the 90s/00s, I remember the commercials and always wanting my mom to buy me herbal essences but it was always too expensive 😫 After finally trying it out, I love the scent. It is pleasant but not too overpowering and this shampoo also has a really great lather! That said, I found that this shampoo dried out my scalp and my hair. The ends felt staw-like after a week of washes despite using conditioner and my scalp was dry and flaky when it wasn't before. Overall, I didn't hate it and I'll likely use up the rest of this bottle by using it one wash a week and switching back to my regular shampoo for the other days.
