It didn’t feel like it had residue, it did kind of felt my hair was very thoroughly cleaned. There was a shine but didn’t leave my hair soft which sucks because it smells so good. The scent does last after the shower which is nice.

I was thrown off by the directions of the shampoo, rinse and repeat, then conditioner. Conditioner just says to repeat as necessary...I guess better to use the shampoo then waste it after the conditioner runs out. I have softer hair, less frizz. It doesn't leave a residue.
