I grew up watching those iconic commercials, and they're still one of the first brands I think of when I think of amazing-smelling shampoo. The scent? 10/10. My hair smelled incredible after washing it, and I can see why Herbal Essences has always been known for their fragrances. As someone with curly hair, I can't fully speak to how well it defines curls since I only tried the shampoo and not the matching conditioner. I do think it did a great job removing product buildup and leaving my hair feeling clean. I'd love to see how the full shampoo and conditioner system performs together. Unfortunately, ingredients are a big factor for me. I checked the product on Yuka, and it received a 31/100 score due to ingredient concerns. As a mom, I'm becoming more intentional about the products I use, not just for myself, but for my daughter too. Because of that, this isn't a shampoo I'll continue purchasing. If Herbal Essences ever created a version with cleaner ingredients while keeping this same amazing scent, I'd absolutely give it another try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to us Herbal Essences Rose Hips Conditioner when I was younger, and I am honestly not sure why I stopped. This conditioner smells divine just like I remembered. The notes of rose, lily, and apple smells amazing and fresh. The conditioner itself leaves my hair feeling silky, soft, and beautifully smooth. It's also a very affordable conditioner, so you really get a good value for your money. I will be adding this back to my haircare routine. It's easy to see why this conditioner is a classic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying many cheap drug store and high end shampoo/conditioner, I keep coming back to Herbal Essences for my everyday hair needs. After washing with the Rose Hips shampoo, I use a quarter sized amount of conditioner and apply to my mid lengths to the ends, leave it on 2-3 minutes before rinsing out. I have thin fine hair and some conditioners weighs my hair down and can look oily. This conditioner smooths my hair without weighing down or looking oily. It's silicone, cruelty and paraben free. Also it's color safe which is a must for me as I dye my hair way too often. It smells so good, like a light floral scent with notes of rose, apple and lily's. I'm normally not a fan of rose scents but this one is perfect and is versatile so the whole family can use. This bottle is huge and will last me months!! I'm happy with the results whether I blow dry or air dry, either way I'm happy with the results. I will continue to purchase in the future and love the price for the amazing quality of product. I prefer this over a lot of the high end brands I've used. 10/10 recommend

It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky, even without conditioner! Packaging is clean and sophisticated, just like the ingredients. The value of the product is fair for what it does. It has a nice consistency, not too viscous and not too thick. It's amazing, give it a shot!
