Your hair will feel nice and clean. Feel like the shampoo works best on straight hair compared to curly/wavy just cause it doesn't help with frizz. But obsessed with the scent.

Herbal Essences was the brand when I was younger—everyone used it, especially for those iconic floral scents. The Rose Hips Shampoo still retains its soft, fresh floral scent, which I remember. It lathers well, cleans without stripping, and leaves my hair light, soft, and shiny. It’s not the most moisturizing formula, but it does exactly what it promises and smells amazing.

When it was wet it felt almost like waxing feeling on it. I thought maybe I didn’t wash it out enough but I used it again made sure it was fully washed out and same feeling. For reference, I have thick but fine hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture that is prone to frizz, so I'm always looking for products that can effectively cleanse without stripping moisture while also helping with smoothness and manageability. For the shampoo, I was impressed with how well it cleansed my scalp and hair. It created a light, satisfying lather that felt effective at removing buildup, oil, and product residue without leaving my hair feeling overly dry or squeaky. The consistency is smooth and easy to distribute through thicker hair, and it rinses out cleanly without leaving any film behind. My scalp felt refreshed and balanced after each wash, which is a big plus. In terms of results, when paired with the rest of my hair routine, I was happy with how my hair turned out. My waves looked defined, and there was a noticeable improvement in overall smoothness compared to skipping conditioner. However, on its own, this duo didn't fully control my frizz, so I still needed additional styling products to achieve my desired finish.
