It's a floral smell. Lathers up pretty well for a shampoo as well and left my hair feel very soft to the touch and my hair just looked shinier. My hair didn't feel dry afterwards which is what I look for in a shampoo.

It was irritating to my eyes as well. It feels just like any other shampoo. Nothing special at all. It left my hair feeling stripped. Did not make my hair any more manageable. It felt like it did the opposite. Rinses out like any other shampoo.
