The scent lasts all day in my hair and it leaves my hair feeling super soft after every use. I really like the way my hair looks after using both the shampoo and conditioner from this line!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like Herbal Essence shampoo, especially since it checks all of my boxes at first glance. My favorite element of the product is the bottle design! The signature roses visible behind the shampoo is nostalgic, with a fresh/modern take. When I smelled the shampoo, it brought me back to my childhood-clean, floral, and comforting. I love that herbal essence is sticking to its roots while making a few updates such as becoming paraben-free. The actual performance did not match. My hair felt dry and this is not a shampoo I would be able to use without a conditioner. The shampoo took too much moisture out of my hair instead of balancing it. I gave my hair a squeaky clean, feel but not in a good way. My hair lacked volume and shine. The good news is that the scent stayed within my hair for a day and a half. And I didn't need another wash right away. Overall, I would give this shampoo a 2/5.

It made my hair really soft and not tangle after the shower. My hair is so shiny and not flat at all. It makes my hair smells so good. I’ll be switching my shampoo and conditioner. Thank you.

Using this product brought back a sense of nostalgia and made me wonder why I ever stopped using it! This shampoo is perfect and lathers so nicely. It leaves my hear full with an extra kick of shine for days. Herbal Essence is also one of those shampoos that you can spot the packing from a mile away and makes you want to reach for it every time. I would say it left my hair feeling almost too clean with not as much volume as I get from other shampoos but overall it’s a great product I’d highly recommend!

I had an amazing reel planned, but then I ended up being allergic to this shampoo. It’s taken over a month for my scalp to heal - even with prescription shampoo.
