I was super impressed in how moisturizing it was and it makes it much easier for me to detangle my hair while in the shower in less time. I’m a natural hair girl with color treated hair as well so I love that this product is safe for color. I think it works pretty well for smoothing the hair as well and doesn’t leave it feeling dry and dull like some shampoos do. I don’t have to worry much about frizz or humidity. I loved this smell so much I went to go buy the conditioner. 💖

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanna start this off by saying that I’m a 90s kid and I grew up watching the herbal essence’s commercials and I always love the way that the shampoo and conditioner smelled growing up and it still smells great. On smell alone I would highly recommend if you’re looking for an affordable option that’s easily accessible give herbal essence is a try. Although this combination did not get my tangles out as easily as my previous products it did leave my hair smelling great and very soft getting this box. Box prompted me to try another herbal essence’s product, the clarifying shampoo and conditioner and once again smells amazing I would highly recommend on smell alone.

It was easy to work up a nice lather in my hair. I would consider using this for periods of time when I am not coloring my hair.
