This conditioner left my hair feeling so soft and nice. Didn't even feel like I needed to use any leave in afterward which have to still use with many competitors. The products smelled so nice and left my hair smelling so nice too.

It doesn’t leave any residue behind, even after regular use. After drying, my hair looks noticeably shinier, is light weight and healthy-looking.

This is the first one I ever tried and is still my favorite, and I've tried so many of their products. I'm not a huge fan of some of the newer ones, or the scents for that matter. This one seems more natural, and the scent actually lasts!! It's a scent I would never get tired of! It leaves my hair silky, soft, and above all else CLEAN!! I can't say enough good things about this one, and I think their originals are the best ones they have.

In terms of cleaning my hair, it did a great job removing the grease and grime in between washes. It left my un-styled hair looking much thicker and more voluminous. It also have the ends of my hair a nice glossy look. It works pretty much the same as other shampoos in the sense that it lathers well and rinses out easily. It’s been two days now since I washed my hair with this and I don’t feel like my hair is any greasier than if I were using a different shampoo, so I don’t think it’s too moisturizing for my hair type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences Rose Hips Shampoo lathers up so easily. I use this in combination with the Rose Hips Conditioner. I found out that Rose Hips actually doesn’t smell like roses or very floral-y, more like a tart/fruity scent that is pretty sweet. Not my preference for hair care, but it’s still nice and stays around a little bit even after styling. While doing an effective job of cleaning any residue from my hair, this also helps add some smoothness, shine, moisture, and even a bit of volume. The sudsy consistency feels a tiny bit drying immediately after washing, but followed up by the conditioner, it brings the moisture right back. I wish it helped smooth a bit more, because my frizzy hair still needs product afterward to help tame it. But overall, I think it does a pretty good job.

I've gotten many compliments on the scent when I use it. I love that its has no parabens and silicone. It is light weight and doesn't leave residue and rinses easily.
