The application is perfection and as someone who on the regular forgets to brush their hair before going into the shower, this product pretty much helps with that because it gets every not out with just washing my hair. The smell is heaven I could never ask for any other product. I’m obsessed.

What didn't quite convince me, personally, was the texture; I found it very thick, and I felt that was what made my hair look completely devoid of shine and volume and myy scalp start to feel dry after use. I didn't like it at all for my type of hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences shampoo smells DIVINE. It is a nice, large pump bottle so it is easy to dispense the amount needed to wash hair. It leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean but not stripped. I don’t notice more volume than usual and not sure about the conditioning aspect since I follow it up with a conditioner. I usually use higher end products, but this is good drug store quality.

So when I first opened it, I thought it smelled great. It definitely felt smooth together when I was in the shower with the water and everything and I honestly really like this shampoo. The only reason I gave it a four star is because it made my hair seem more dry than normal, which I wasn’t ready for so it might not be a bad thing. Which I was surprised, I thought it would be more smooth since it literally ran through my hair so easily in the shower. The fact that it was so dry it did make my hair not get greasy for a while so I feel like my hair stayed cleaner for a long time. I don’t know if this was just a one off thing, but it made me get into a funk styling my hair after using it. I felt like I hated my hair but after a couple days, my hair kind of tamed out and it felt good. It also made my hair not as flaky compared to my other shampoo so overall, I think it’s a really good shampoo. If you already have dry hair, I would probably be careful cause it might feel horrible, but I guess I normally have normal to oily hair so first day was kind of annoying but after that my hair felt pretty good. It smelled good the whole time though
