My scalp doesn't necessarily feel stripped afterward, but I do notice quite a quick buildup of oil after using this. I think some of the ingredients make me favor other products, but the scent is enjoyable. I will say, I do really like the way my hair looks with this, but my oil buildup on my scalp is too much to give it the full 5 stars
