First, I'm actually in love with this shampoo! It had 0% parabens and silicone, and that's a lot harder to find than you think! It makes my hair look like it's best and smooth, but not greasy. I love the smooth, shiny, feel but still with some bounce. It smells amazing, so refreshing like you're in the rain forest yet with the hint of roses. You won't be disappointed!

I use a leave in conditioner more times than not after showering. I didn't need to do that with this! My hair feels so silky and hydrated, but not waxy like some other brands leave you. My favorite element of the product is the bottle design! The signature roses visible behind the shampoo is nostalgic, with a fresh/modern take. When I smelled the shampoo, it brought me back to my childhood-clean, floral, and comforting. I love that herbal essence is sticking to its roots while making a few updates such as becoming paraben-free. The actual performance did not match. My hair felt dry and this is not a shampoo I would be able to use without a conditioner. The shampoo took too much moisture out of my hair instead of balancing it. I gave my hair a squeaky clean, feel but not in a good way. My hair lacked volume and shine. The good news is that the scent stayed within my hair for a day and a half. And I didn't need another wash right away. Overall, I would give this shampoo a 2/5.
