[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I love the scent and the texture of the formula! It is ultra rich, creamy, moisturizing and nourishing! It doesn't weigh down your hair. After using the rose hips shampoo you can disperse a generous amount onto the ends of hair and work up. I let it sit on for 5 to 10 minutes but isn't necessary. It gives instant softness and nourishing. If you do have a greasy scalp I would not go all the way to the root but if you dont then root to tip. This helps detangle your hair and give you hydration and lock in the moisture. It is safe for colored hair and won't make it fade or damage it. It is paraben and silicone free which is nice. It has the best sweet tea rose scent that I love! My grandmother and I used to use this all the time and it gives me a nostalgic feeling using it! It is an OG classic and still here for a reason! It is a timeless classic that gives you a perfect clean hair week or few days. I wash my hair 2 times a week and this will always be in my rotation. It helps lock in your blow out, reduce frizz and detangles very well! It does have a strong scent but is the best rose scented shampoo and conditioner I've ever used in my life! I don't usually like or care for strong florally rose scents and I adore this one! So just be prepared for a scent that does stick around. Smell it before you buy to make sure you like it, but I have a very strong feeling it will be your new favorite because it is one of my old favorites! For a good shampoo and conditioner set at a good price, this is an excellent one!

The scent was the first thing that stood out bc I love for my hair to feel clean without sacrificing scent. The consistency wasn't too thick either. It cleansed my scalp after a much needed reset and defined my curls!

Left a residue in my hair that even with repeat rinsing did not go away. Did not give any detangling at all.

The texture is nice and creamy spread easily and rinses out well I also love the sun. It’s light fresh and stays on the hair for a long time after using it, my hair looks healthier and shiny. It works great for every day. Use some pairs perfectly with the shampoo from the same line. Definitely a good option if you want smooth soft hair with a pre-Airman.

What I didn’t love was the day after my hair already looking greasy because it wasn’t hydrating enough. I did feel like the shampoo genuinely did clean my hair well but I do feel like it missed a mark on some very important factors.

In terms of breakage and strength, it provides decent slip for detangling which can help reduce mechanical breakage. But it doesn't deeply strengthen or repair damaged stands since it's more of a surface smoothing formula with conditioning agents. Drying time is fairly normal to slightly quicker than heavier conditioners because the formula is lightweight!
