But im not a fan of the overwhelming scent while using shampoo and conditioner together. It feels suffocating in tight quarters like the shower.

I've been using the Herbal Essences Rose Hips Smooth Shampoo for a few weeks now, and it brings back so much nostalgia! The consistency is a nice, rich gel that lathers up beautifully, making it super easy to massage into my scalp. It cleanses thoroughly and washes out easily without leaving any heavy residue weighing my hair down. The texture of my hair after drying is noticeably softer, silkier, and much easier to manage. I also love that the ingredients feature rose hips, vitamin E, and jojoba extracts, which really seem to help tame my frizz. On top of how well it works, the classic floral scent is absolutely amazing and lingers in my hair all day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did the shampoo and conditioner combo so this is pretty much the same review from the shampoo since I had to use both together. So when I first opened it, I thought it smelled great. It definitely felt smooth together when I was in the shower with the water and everything and I honestly really like this shampoo. The only reason I gave it a four star is because it made my hair seem more dry than normal, which I wasn't ready for so it might not be a bad thing. Which I was surprised, I thought it would be more smooth since it literally ran through my hair so easily in the shower. The fact that it was so dry it did make my hair not get greasy for a while so I feel like my hair stayed cleaner for a long time. I don't know if this was just a one off thing, but it made me get into a funk styling my hair after using it. I felt like I hated my hair but after a couple days, my hair kind of tamed out and it felt good. It also made my hair not as flaky compared to my other shampoo so overall, I think it's a really good shampoo. If you already have dry hair, I would probably be careful cause it might feel horrible, but I guess I normally have normal to oily hair so first day was kind of annoying but after that my hair felt pretty good. It smelled good the whole time though
