A little goes a long way for my thick hair and it thoroughly cleansed my hair, but did leave my hair a little dry. The rose hips scent was quite strong when shampooing my hair, although it did leave my hair smelling nice for the first 2 days until it faded. If you're looking for a strong fragrant scent that will linger in your hair, I would definitely recommend this. It's one of the more fragrant shampoos that I've tried in a long time and it's a great value for the amount in the bottle.
