Really 15k interval . you can believe.

Using currently in my 2017 Nissan Titan. So far changed twice at 15k. Oil looked VERY close to new both times. NOT dark at all. I am a used car dealer.... I know what dirty oil looks like. My truck was towing a heavy RV trailer (7500 LBS) about 3rd of time. Also I bumped up viscosity to 5w30 Not a big fan of CAFE guidelines telling me what's better for MPG. I almost went 10w30. I have been pairing this with "Purolator" BOSS oil filter. and feel very confident about this oil for my truck. Love the 15k interval and the feeling you have the "BEST" oil on the market in your truck. Will continue to use. Little pricey yes. But saves with the interval.

Oil is not ever an issue

I have 2 Chevys, a 2001 Silverado with a 5.3 and a 2014 Corvette with the 6.2 LT1. Both vehicles get Mobil 1 EP. The Silverado's 5.3 is incredible over 400,000 miles and no oil usage, and I am the original owner. Mobil 1 Extended Protection was not available when the truck was new- we used regular Mobil 1 back then. When the Extended Protection became available, we switched. We are aware of the extended intervals, but still drop the oil every 5,000 miles. We look at it as the absolute best synthetic oil out there, and since we have over 400K on it without a rebuild, we must be doing something right. We only put about 3,000 miles a year on the Corvette (due to hibernation in the winter months). We use 5W30 Mobil EP because of the quality. We believe frequent synthetic oil changes are the most cost effective insurance a owner can perform on their cars and trucks. At this rate, when the Corvette hits 400,000 miles, it should be about 130 years old and still running strong.

Don't waste good oil

I read these reviews and see those people that still change at 5k or 8k. I've owned three cars that made it to 200k and always changed at 15,000. That's what it says on the container. I strongly believe you are wasting good $$$ if you change more often. I've told many people that I don't change my oil very often and I don't believe I have changed anyone's behavior. But maybe if you're on this site and reading this you may stop throwing out good oil that's wanting to protect your engine for 15,000 miles. As a matter of fact I think I need to go longer after reading some of these reviews!

Switched to mobil 1 extended at about 115,000 mile

I drive 20,000+ miles a year and started using Mobil 1 at about 115,000. My engine is smoother and quieter than it has ever been. Change oil about every 12,000 miles and it comes out dirty, but no sludge like I used to see. Very happy with the performance and mileage I receive while using this product. My vehicle now has over 186,000 miles on it and moving right along. Why not spend the extra few bucks for a product that you know is the best.

I expect 200,00 plus miles, Benefit of Mobil One

Bought Ford Escape 4cyl and Chevy Silverado 6.2 liter V8 new in 2012. Mobil One Extended Life used in both since day purchased. Presently Chevy 148,012 miles and Ford 141,310 miles. NO leaks, No use of oil between 6,000 mile oil changes, No problems of any kind. I am retired now and expect to get 200K to 300K from these two thanks to Mobil One and simple maintenance. I always use Mobil One filters at every oil change. C. Linton

20,000 miles between oil changes

I drive a Nissan Sentra with 260,000 miles on it. I've always used Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 motor oil. I change my oil every 20,000 miles. I also always use the Mobil 1 extended performance oil filter. At 260,000 miles, my Nissan runs as good as it did when it was new and doesn't use any more oil between oil changes than it did when new. This is by far the best oil I have ever used and will never use anything else. I even use Mobil 1 oil in my riding lawn mower.

The only One

I use Mobil One synthetic in both of my vehicles. I use the Extended High Mileage in my 1999 Ford Explorer. Doesn’t burn oil and never have had an engine issue. I also use it in my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0T. Again, engine doesn’t burn oil and never had an engine issue.

Short

I usually use amsoil products but couldn't get it this time and was already past due on this service. So I figured I would try mobile one. Bought the 20,000 mile 5 quart jug of oil and the matching 20,000 mile filter. Performed the oil change and filled it up with oil. I poured In 4.5 gallons of your 5 quart jug and my car was still way low. Finished pouring in the rest and it was still low!!!!!! The car is a Nissan rogue with a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine that only holds 4.8 quarts of oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have owned this car for 3 years and this sure isn't my first oil change on this car or in my life. Been a professional mechanic for 23 years. Had to go a buy a couple more quarts of your oil. What's up with that. Probably wont use your products again after this. Unless you feel the need to make it right which I am highly doubtful you will.
