I have 100% incontinence 6 years after prostate surgery. I use the underwear for exercise only. For 5 years I used the Maximum female pad which worked extremely well and stayed in place due to its more "firm" build. Due to a recent size change to the pad I was using, I switched to the guards. I find the size perfect and they are pretty comfortable. There are a couple of things that could be improved for people like myself with complete incontinence. First a firmer pad. One that holds its shape better. I dont mind changing the pad as often as necessary due to leakage, but I don't like changing it once it loses its shape if its not wet. Second, I would like a thicker pad. I'm sure not everyone would, but for us with full incontinence it would be great. Lastly, I implore you to not make the pads smaller whether for women or men. I understand the need for corporations to maximize profits and downsize products on occasion to achieve this. However, male incontinence protection is not like a can of beans. When you change the size it causes all type of complications from unnecessary leakage to discomfort due to chaffing. If on occasion something has to be changes, I prefer you decrease the package quantity slightly rather than decreasing the size of the pads. Men and women develop a comfort level with a given product and thats why we are loyal to Poise. Please consider the impact you have on our lives when you change the size of individual pads

Even though the item was a 'Maximum' type, he thought that it could have been a lil bit thinner and that the shape was odd. My brother thought that it would not be identical to women's pads. I agree. Men ARE shaped different below the belt. The adhesive strip on the back was good. It didn't move around during the day or overnight. He said that he would still recommend this.

According to their study, they found that these pads were a little oversized yet comfortable. It does give a discreetness, but the wearer found that he felt it could be seen as far as Leak proof it definitely does the job.

I noticed that I didn’t have to change the pads every hour like some other brands or products in the market. The pads are designed to be inserted with the underwear and do not look bulky. These pads cannot be used with boxers.

Though incentivized, my opinion is entirely my own. I received the depends men’s guard. It features discreet, cup-shaped protection right where men need it most. Offering worry-free odor control, they're individually wrapped in a cloth-like pouch for discreet carrying. I got this for the men in my family for them to try it out and just review it for me the fact that it is order free they loved it and it is in a discreet packaging and it doesn’t look like they are carrying any type of personal items with them at this time, they don’t see the use of using incontinence pads quite yet, but when they do get to that point, they will go to Depends because it worked. It also fit well within their boxers or their briefs, and they did say that it absorbed what they did have, but they didn’t test it out where they could see that it was full, but the fact that it was comfortable, it was weird getting used to it, but like I said if they had to wear something like this, they would prefer this brand

The cup-like shape fits well in underwear and adhesive keeps it in place. However, I did find that the guards can quickly saturate if dealing with sudden urges or heavier leakage. Leakage can occur, which required immediate changing. Therefore, I would recommend these for someone with lighter or consistent leakage.
