He found the product to work well in absorbing leaks and staying in place. We live in a very hot climate though and it is a bit bulky for the coming heat.

Even though the item was a 'Maximum' type, he thought that it could have been a lil bit thinner and that the shape was odd. My brother thought that it would not be identical to women's pads. I agree. Men ARE shaped different below the belt. The adhesive strip on the back was good. It didn't move around during the day or overnight. He said that he would still recommend this.

For every day constuction work, I rely on my full pullup ( Flex Fit ) More coverage with out fear of slipping with all the m ovement. In the cool or cold season I get a warmer sit down... I have 100% incontinence 6 years after prostate surgery. I use the underwear for exercise only. For 5 years I used the Maximum female pad which worked extremely well and stayed in place due to its more "firm" build. Due to a recent size change to the pad I was using, I switched to the guards. I find the size perfect and they are pretty comfortable. There are a couple of things that could be improved for people like myself with complete incontinence. First a firmer pad. One that holds its shape better. I dont mind changing the pad as often as necessary due to leakage, but I don't like changing it once it loses its shape if its not wet. Second, I would like a thicker pad. I'm sure not everyone would, but for us with full incontinence it would be great. Lastly, I implore you to not make the pads smaller whether for women or men. I understand the need for corporations to maximize profits and downsize products on occasion to achieve this. However, male incontinence protection is not like a can of beans. When you change the size it causes all type of complications from unnecessary leakage to discomfort due to chaffing. If on occasion something has to be changes, I prefer you decrease the package quantity slightly rather than decreasing the size of the pads. Men and women develop a comfort level with a given product and thats why we are loyal to Poise. Please consider the impact you have on our lives when you change the size of individual pads

I love the men's Depend guards. For the longest time I was trying to wear the women's pad that was so uncomfortable. Then I found the men's guard. The built in elastic section helps the pad fit so much better between the legs than the women's pad without this. The men's Depend guard is so comfortable and helps me feels confident.

First the diaper, then the pads and was so glad when I made to the shields. It is designed to wear in your underwear and catches those drips that just happen. The cup-like shape fits well in underwear and adhesive keeps it in place. However, I did find that the guards can quickly saturate if dealing with sudden urges or heavier leakage. Leakage can occur, which required immediate changing. Therefore, I would recommend these for someone with lighter or consistent leakage.
