It was harder to convince my elderly father they are worth wearing even though he did try them at my request. All he said was they fit but I doubt I’m wearing a maxi pad. Whether he wears them so that him and my mom can venture into town comfortably will be his private business I guess..at least he’s been presented with them. I think if the inside was grey or black or something of the sort maybe not much maxi pad looking inside more elderly men (generationally speaking) would look to it. Im happy they even make something like this so men can have some freedom should they decide to accept.

They are not bulky and took a day or two getting use to it and now I don’t even notice that I have them on. As you can see in my video the fit is good and they aren’t noticeable. The adhesive could be a bit better but it’s not that bad. It does absorb a good amount of liquid. Probably a little more than a cup as you see on my video. I see others say that it leaks on the side, but when you relive yourself control the flow so the absorbent material has a chance to absorb the liquid and not leak out. Its compact and carrying an extra pad around is convient.

I find them comfortable, anatomically supportive, and at times forgot I had them on. On absorbency, I think they performed well, though I was expecting some more coverage for a few more hours.

I am new to these products due to recent medical procedure. After reading reviews on Walmart web site I started using another brand. It was very good. But, recently was removed from market by Walmart and I had to try "new" Depend guards. To my disappointment it leaked easily and uncomfortable. It folds within underwear. Unfortunately my choices for maximum protection is very limited. It's very frustrating that one company removes a good product from market and other name brand (Depend) can not produce a similar or better product. Very annoying.

I have been using depends for years after my prostate operation. Bought them at right aid most of the time and was always satisfied until my last two purchases of day pads. They are much thinner. Even the wrapping seems different. I used to get thru the day with a couple of pads. Now it's three or four depending on what i do. Sometimes i need a change after two or three hours if i am working outside. Also the padding seems to be failing in the under ware when it gets wet over night.

My dad has leakage issue and I figured I would save him from looking like he peed his pants by getting these guards because his leakage can happen with the guards without anyone even knowing. They are affordable and you can buy them almost anywhere. If you have a stubborn parent or grandparent that won’t do the diapers yet these are the next best thing.
