I got this kit to help me determine what type would work best. I realize the color isn’t a great match but I needed to figure out the moulding type and now I can get one that color matches best.

My husband installed it and he seemed do do.it fairly quickly! Very well made and the color is nice. It makes a good transition between wood laminate and carpet.

The packaging was very well made so I wasn’t worried about anything being damaged. It went well even though my partner quit on me and had a doggie nap!

While color isn't exact, i don't mind the contrast. Adds to the style in my opinion. That said, i will actually be changing the floor to a color closer to this trim, so it will work better in the long run anyways. To the molding itself, the first thing i noticed was the material. I really like that it's waterproof and will not get waterlogged and rot away like the trim i am replacing. The color is nice and the faux texture/design is nicely done. I like the size of the pieces as well to an extent. I feel like they are good for doorways and other openings where these style pieces are most often used. In that same vein, i feel like pieces are easily wasted when cutting these down. Most doorways are 3 feet or less, so the extra 8 inches just seems like it will be wasted more often than not. That is the biggest con i can find with this trim, though. From cost to material to install, everything else is a definitive win.
