A neighbor gave me a box of this soup to try. One taste, and it became a favorite. There is no explanation that I can compose to tell you the taste is just superb. It is not bitter. Is well balanced in the tomato flavor that is not too strong or overpowering with the "roasted" taste. It is simply a top soup for my family. A nice addition is that Sam's price per box in the 4 pack is attractively less than the grocery store shelf price per box. Kudos to Sam's for providing this quality product and to Pacific Soups for its culinary production skills. We enjoy this soup with an open faced grilled cheese sandwich as a quick midday meal....year around! Don't waste your time and money by "testing its flavor" with purchasing one box from another seller. You will not regret this purchase

Top notch. This is my fifth or sixth carton of 4. I'll order another this week or next. Best tomato soup ever. I plan all my suppers around this, and don't plan on stopping any time soon.

One of my staples for acute illness. Grew up with tomato soup in the house, so still rely on this for sickness recovery. Pacific brand is so much better than the old can version and has quality ingredients as well. Tomato soup isn't everyone's favorite but those of us who do like it, go with Pacific brand.

this deserves more than five star. I fell in love with a tomato basil soup at a small sandwich shop. first time I went it was the best thing I ever had the second time is okay on the third time it wasn't okay so I went looking for the rush of that delicious tomato basil soup. This is as close as it going to get plus it doesn't taste like a tin can.

This is my all time favorite soup! The taste has a hint or sweetness and saltiness. The portion sizing is amazing also, I can get 3-4 servings out of it and the packaging is super easy to squeeze the soup out of.

Did not use. Product containers leaking under white plastic seal. Air contamination of an organic product likely since the "seal" did not work. Product leaks under plastic seal. Followed directions by "shaking" carton and thankfully I did so over the sink. Air contamination a problem. Does Pacific Foods also "seal" over the carton opening AND around the cap or just around the cap?" Pacific Foods really needs to address this problem since other customers complain of this identical problem. Waiting over 1 month for a Sam's Club refund.
