I needed a new mattress because of back pain. After visiting mattress stores, I was confident I wanted a memory foam mattress. I scoured the web for reviews and eventually decided on the Night Therapy Elite 12" memory foam mattress. I've never been happier with a purchase. I have two bulging discs in my lower back. I have had zero back pain on this mattress. My husband did have some initial back pain, but we got him a memory foam pillow (I already had one) which helped align his spine while laying on the mattress and the back pain went away. As for whether or not it sleeps "hot", I can't say. I'm always super hot when I sleep. But I don't feel any more hot than on the last mattress. Also, our sheets just fit on this mattress. You may need the deep pocket sheets if you go for a mattress taller than the 12". Of course, you can't beat the value. I don't remember if there was an option to pick this item up in the store, but it was worth it to pay the minimal shipping price and have it shipped to our home. It took two of us to move it. It was easy to take out of the packaging and set up. After setting it up I noticed a slight odor, but it was gone within a few days and didn't prevent us from sleeping on it the first night. We are both very sensitive to odors. If you have pets, good luck keeping them off this bed. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a memory foam mattress.

After 5 years, three high end coil mattresses, and, enough foul language directed towards a certain mattress professional outlet to make a sailor blush, we have found a comfortable mattress. I will not bore you with tails of pain and partner movement issues except to say that those issues have been resolved rather nicely with this 12" Night Therapy Elite MyGel, King size. I also will not bore you with tales of the insurmountable warranty maze and the thousands of wasted dollars spent with mattress professionals. Just take my word for it that they are not professionals. If you feel sleepy do not go to a mattress professional. You will regret it. It is all a shell game. We have been sleeping on this mattress for two months. It was easy to set up. There was no odor. It is no hotter or cooler than any mattress we have owned. It took me a week to get used to the firmness and a month to really feel good in it. My leg pain is gone. My girlfriends hip and shoulder pain is reduced and getting better the more time she spends on the mattress. Sleep quality is improved for both of us. I do not disturb her getting in and out of bed. This is a great mattress and great value. There were no issues with Sams Club or the delivery. This mattress will work on any box spring and frame. If you need more support you can always place a thin plywood board between the box and mattress. It probably wont be needed, though. This is the best mattress I have owned as an adult. Less strain and less pain in both my body and wallet. At this price if the mattress dies in two years I will just buy another and not feel as bad about it as I have with the recent ones I have owned.

The logistics and price of the purchase were excellent, however the firmness rating was misleading. The mattress was rated at a firmness rating of 3 but in my opinion, based on the firmness descriptions, it should be a 2. We have slept on the mattress now for about 3 weeks and although it is comfortable the "squishiness" concerns me regarding the long term use. If I had the opportunity to try the mattress before ordering, I would have selected one that was firmer. However I would recommend the product to a friend who is looking for a soft to medium mattress.

Very rarely does anything actually help my back stop hurting but this mattress did. It would take 20 minutes for my back to unstiffen every morning with other newer mattress. So went with this one based on reviews and yes it does improve back support. I now wake up and my pain level is so much lower. Within 5 min I feel good. Also I can sleep on my side and not feel back pain in morning. On my other mattress I would have a stiff back all day if I slept on my side. This bed feels a little firm at first but then you slowly sink in just enough.

Shipping was good, fast, delivered when said would. Set up of bed was great, not much smell, gone in 24 hours what little there was. 12 inch is all the fitted sheets want to do to fit, glad did not go bigger. Having hip pain usually and back pain on old bed, back pain was not there next morning. Not much motion to bed, so wife turning over is not noticed. Bed is soft on the side when putting on socks, but when lay down it is great. Planning on buying one more for the guest room, and one for the cabin. Price compared to furniture store was much cheaper, easier to read online the description than listen to store clerk. I do wish it were made in the USA and not China, I would pay a little more if it were.

Says it is firm but is not. Bed is soft and spongy, not we were looking for so returned it to sams with no problems (other than loosing shipping cost). Bought a 'soft' version of name brand foam mattress and it is much firmer than this. If soft and sinking is what your looking for than this is a good buy.

We went out on limb by only reading reviews and never even testing this particular gel bed at any store, but have tested other gel beds and loved them. So knowing we may possibly hate the mattress and losing $500, we decided to purchase here...and we LOVE our decision! It's exactly like the other gels in the big stores, but paying waaaaay less for luxury. My back pain at night is GONE and my husband's achy joints have also disappeared. When you get the box, it's large but we dragged it into the bedroom. Follow all the instructions and the mattress rises to full thickness within 30 minutes. The other reviews scared me about the smell, and I did smell it out of the box, but I let it air out for one day with no sheets and lots of lysol and febreeze with a fan on it. It was odor-free by bedtime and we've had it for 2 months and haven't smelled a thing. This is a great choice! I'm not disappointed at all.

Ordered this for my guest room. Having previously slept on a true Temporpedic with only one complaint; traps too much body heat. Figured this gel top would help. It definitely does. Although it makes the bed way too soft for my liking, everyone else loves it. All in all a great value for the money!

I have had back problems for years, and this year was no different. I'd been suffering with severe morning stiffness and pain for several months. As luck would have it, I came down with a nasty cold, and ended up sleeping in the guest room for a couple of weeks so my other half could rest. Lo and behold, after sleeping on a newer, firmer mattress, my morning back pain was nearly gone! I had always wanted to try a memory foam mattress, since they had been so highly recommended by many of my friends. I purchased this mattress after looking at similar ones at brick and mortar stores with price tags up to nearly $2000. At under $600, this one seemed like a bargain, especially after reading some of the reviews. It arrived relatively quickly. It was a bit bulky, rolled up as it was in a small-refrigerator-sized box, but easier to handle than if it had been flat. The reviews, and the included "unrolling" instructions indicated that there might be an odor once the mattress was unfurled. It was recommended that the mattress be allowed to "rise" for a certain period of time before use. That was a bit of a hassle, because who has a queen-sized area of open floor space just sitting around in their home?? Luckily, we had planned to disassemble the full-size bed in the guest room so we could clean the carpet. We used the floor space to open the memory foam mattress there. We could not detect any unpleasant odor. A couple of days later, we set the mattress up on the metal frame that we had also purchased. After using this mattress for about a month, I am VERY pleased to report that I have much less back pain. This mattress is not as firm as the coil spring set in our guest room, but it works very well. It was a good compromise, since my partner was concerned that he would not like a mattress that was too firm. If you are looking for a memory foam mattress, a tad firm, with a reasonable price tag, this may be it.

I have bought four of these beds starting in 2014 and have recommended them to others who have purchased them, all very happy with the feel and comfort. I still love my first one purchased in 2014. The last one bought in 2021 was so hard we had to put a foam topper on it to make it tolerable. I suspect that the design and/or manufacturer (used to be a Zinus brand) has changed. Don't recommend it unless you like a very firm mattress.
