Odor was not too bad and dissipated quickly with only slight hints of it afterwards for a few days. Did not bother us. A little soft on the edge when getting in and out...our bed is rather high so it takes you by surprise sometimes. I weigh 260 and my wife 135 so it affects me more. Very nice firm foam and it responds well. My movements do not affect my wife. Best sleep we've had in years, much better than our 7 year old spring Sealy Posturepedic which cost us nearly 800$. While this is no doubt a great deal, and you really cant go wrong, this week I went out to try a $1200 Sealy Foam mattress, and I have to say I like it better all be it double the price. It does not have the soft edges like this one, and the foam responds better. I will likely put this one in the guest bedroom in the coming months and purchase the Sealy foam. ' But...if your budget is sub $600 then you will definitely not go wrong with this mattress! I certainly recommend it for the price.

It was difficult to judge the firmness of this mattress based on others' reviews since everyone has their own opinion of the meaning of Firm, Medium, or Soft. I prefer a Soft to Medium mattress. Our double pillowtop mattress was past it's prime and we needed a new one. Since my husband has had 2 back surgeries with metal bars and screws, we wanted to try a memory foam mattress. And since I sleep "hot", we needed the cool gel one. We didn't want to spend a lot, not knowing if it would work for his condition, so we gave this one a try since it was a great price and actually good quality. Let me just say, he's 6' - 225lbs and I'm 5'7"- 125lbs. The mattress was OK for him but HORRIBLE for me!! I'm a stomach/side sleeper and it felt like I was laying on the floor!! It was so firm I woke up with a sore back and hips. There was absolutely NO give for someone of my weight. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order this mattress if you like to sleep on your stomach or side and you weigh less than 200lbs!!!! You will definitely be sorry!!!

I purchased this mattress because I was tired of the poor quality of sleep I was getting on a standard mattress. I thought any mattress had to be better than what I had been sleeping on and after trying three standard mattresses I thought I'd try a Tempur Pedic. The price and my skepticism caused me to look at a less expensive alternative. I've now had the foam mattress for over a week and it's taken a little getting use to but so far I'm sleeping much better and my back doesn't hurt near as much as with the other mattresses. I'm a rather large person and the reviews on this mattress had me concerned. Not sure if this is the last mattress I'll try but the memory foam is by far one of the most comfortable I've slept on. As for the smell, it wasn't a problem at all. The first night or two I noticed a slight chemical odor but nothing overpowering and I am sensitive to odors. If you're not sure about memory foam this is a good mattress to try out. My back does get a little warm but not too bad. In my opinion, it's difficult to adequately evaluate a memory foam mattress from just laying on one in a store. It's best to sleep on one for a fair evaluation. They feel a little stiff at first but then it conforms to your body and feels more comfortable.

We had purchased these mattresses for our each of our kids. They were inexpensive and seemed like a good deal. So, we decided what the heck. We would purchase the 12 inch for our own bed. We are not sorry. It took a couple of nights to get used to, but now we are sleeping great. No problems to report. The mattress came in a box. We opened it and let it air out for 48 hours. We put it on our bed and it has worked great.

Purchased the Night Therapy Elite, King on 4/4/2020. It was great for about the first 2-3 years, but we've been rotating it every month or so since to try to offset the depressions. We're normal-sized: me 6' 195, and my wife 5'7" 165 and the depressions are so bad, we need to replace it. We thought we'd get closer to 10 years (at least 7) like we have with every other mattress we've owned in our 35 years of marriage, including the previous memory foam mattress we bought from the other large club store.

No complaints here! We bought it for the price wanting a foam mattress, but not wanting to spend alot of $$$ .. It is a nice mattress. Also we never had a "smell" others had said so it was even better! We bought the frame and it is VERY sturdy! Over all would do it again!

I recently purchased this bed for my wife and I. We fell in love with it immediately. We didn't even wait for 24 hours for the bed to finish uncompressing and still slept well. I usually get cold in the night and this bed keeps me perfectly warm. The problem is that my wife is a hot sleeper and so she Has mentioned this but we added a down alternative topper and a fan keeps her cool enough. I also wake up earlier than she does and she has mentioned that with this new bed she is not disturbed nearly as much as our old mattress.

Purchased this for my 16 yr old daughter and she totally loves it! It's firm enough that you don't sink into it to deep. The odor was gone after a day...and it wasn't that bad. Expanded to a full 12 inches instantly. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived on Saturday, I will try to give an update in a few months to see how the quality holds up,

We were very skeptical about a memory foam mattress as we have always had a spring mattress. After reading the reviews I felt it was definitely worth trying especially since my husband has spinal issues. Somewhat of an odor initially but only lasted a few days. I immediately felt comfortable sleeping on this mattress. It took several days before my husband admitted he liked the new mattress because he is one who doesn't like change. We both are sleeping better than ever and not tossing and turning all night. I feel this has the support needed but isn't hard as a rock to sleep on. I guess the only drawback is that neither one of us want to get up in the morning now because of how comfy it is.
