The mattress is plush, however it has the right amount of firmness and support that I didn’t know I needed in a mattress. It provides a truly wonderful nights sleep. The mattress is very deep, so your regular sheets may not fit. However I am sure that this mattress will last a long time, so it will be worth the investment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beautyrest Silver medium pillow top mattress is absolutely beautiful-the dark charcoal sides and white top with a slight grey checked pattern is almost too pretty to cover up with linens. The fabric feels durable, and is stitched securely-I see many years of use with the overall quality and construction. It's a very thick mattress so be sure to use deep pocket sheets so they don't pop off constantly. I also used a king size comforter so it would have sufficient overhang to meet the box spring and look more finished, I'm pretty picky with how my bed looks though. I chose to keep the box springs for additional height even though the mattress can be used without it. The first thing I noticed is how solid this mattress is, as if one complete piece of construction matterial..and that's a good thing! Absolutely zero transfer of motion, no movement at all, and tested by numerous cat pounces and dog jumps lol. That alone I knew would help me sleep better ;) And sliding out of bed in the morning isn't a heart stopper anymore because this mattress has the edge to edge support so you don't drop down 6 inches sitting on the edge...unlike my other. The first few nights were trial and error, I had to switch types of pillows a few times to get the proper head/neck height with how much I sunk into the amazingly lofty top. But once I figured out the perfect combination it was a sleeping on a cloud heaven! I used to toss and turn and wake up numerous times a night because of pressure point pain in my hip and knee, being a side sleeper doesn't leave to many choices with position shift, I am now sleeping through the night with no pains at all AND also no morning stiffness in my back or neck. Enough support but still feels soft if that makes sense? The best part I think is that I no longer wake up with damp linens from night sweats either, I don't know the fancy logistics of the cooling technology but it sure does work- I'll admit I was skeptical. Truly wonderful what this mattress has done for my sleep cycle :)

It is like sleeping on a cloud, yet there is firmness underneath. I like the medium mattress, it gives me just the right amount of support. I feel like I am getting good sleep with it. This mattress is of very good quality, and very sturdy. I'm sure it will last a long time. I am very happy with this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's an 3-inch verycomfortable pillow-topped,hypo allergenic. 15-inch queenmattress. Total hight- 15.3 inches. It fits a standard queen bed frame perfectly. You don't have to use a box spring. Although, I am using a box spring. Because I love the extra height. The website recommended using a very thin pad. Similar to a yoga mat to protect the mattress. I highly recommend this mattress for a good nightsvrest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I really love about this mattress is that it has a very "plush" soft feeling, yet somehow, it's still very supportive. When I lay on it, there is no indentation where my body weight pushes the mattress down, like you'd normally have on a soft mattress or a memory foam. It's very supportive and still feels plush and cloud like to lay on. Supposedly, it has a "dynamic response memory foam" in it. If you have slept on memory foam before and didn't like the feel of it...this is nothing like your typical memory foam mattress. It does not give that same contour feeling where your body molds to the shape of the mattress. If that's what you're looking for, this might not be right for you. If you want a mattress that supports your body, yet still feels cozy and soft...it's great! I can't speak to the longevity of the mattress, but I know Beautyrest has a good reputation, so hopefully it'll last a long time. Highly recommended!

However, this mattress is still very comfortable and offered me a relaxing nights sleep. If you like a firm mattress you should give this one a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a side sleeper and this matress feels wonderful. It's firm, yet soft and plush enough that it doesn't hurt my body and I can sleep comfortably. Upon ordering I don't think I realized how tall the mattress actually is, it's not a bad thing, but if you had or wanted to add an additional topper onto it you might have a hard time trying to find sheets that will fit over both. It does come with a built in pillow top, so I have not had a need for additional topper but just a mention.

I really like that it has fibers enhanced with silver to provide antimicrobial performance and moisture wicking. I still recommend a mattress protector to protect your investment. Don't let the name plush get you. It is not like a cloud that you sink into and can't get up. It doesn't leave a bit indent where you laid. It is a relatively medium firmed mattress, in my opinion. It has been great. It has great support and keeps it shape. All very important.
