Very sturdy & excellent quality! We have four uncouth hunting dogs who are funny little maniacs. These dog palaces have taken a beating for years & still have a little life in them. We won’t buy anything else. Helpful hint: caulk the seams to ensure a watertight haven.

Have had it for a couple of weeks and it has kept my dog from freezing during cold weather. My dog loves it. I have a pitbull pup and I didn’t have to train him to learn how to get in and out from the house

I bought one about 4 1/2 yrs ago and it still looks great and my dog loves it. I just bought a second one for a 6 month old puppy and she likes it. It’s well insulated and keeps them warm and cozy.

This is a great product and my dog loves it. It arrived with a broken door but with one call it was replaced two days later.

This dog house is fantastic. My Catahoula loves it. It only took a couple of urges to get him to plow through the doors.

Unlike many, we were looking for a dog house that would not only help keep our dog warm on cold days, but also keep her cool on our hot Florida days. I read a review of the Dog Palace from somebody from Miami, so decided to give it a try. Originally, we were going to buy an Igloo, but these are far better insulated plus easier to clean. So I bit the bullet and ordered one. Arrived quickly and my kids and I put it together. A little difficult to do the last steps of the roof/door, but with the help of a rubber mallet, we were able to get everything tight. Now we've removed the bottom half of the door and are working on convincing our dog to go in. The surprise is that it is definitely much cooler in the dog house. My son (who can fit) said it was comparable to inside our air conditioned home. So as long as she'll eventually go in, a definite win!

The only problem we had was that the seams required caulking to be truly watertight.

Dislike: I bought this with "a bed". What a joke! I feel ripped off, as "the bed" is nothing more than a hunk of material, offering ABSOLUTELY NO PADDING. Save your money and purchase the less expensive dog house without a bed and buy a bed worthy for your dog. I'll be seeking a refund. Putting it together solo can be a challenge. In putting panels in place, they often popped out of alignment. I ended up using a rubber mallet to better secure the panels. I finally had my wife help by bracing panels as I screwed them into place. Screws: The bottom deck screws were a piece of cake to do. I can't say the same for the top screws, which hold the end panels to the roof. If the company can do a better design for easier alignment of the holes in the adjoining panels, it would create "good and better vibes" for the consumer. Like: It seems a solid house with "interlocking seems", though I suspect harsh, wet weather may seep in. By description, it's better insulated than most competitors. I see this as a potential advantage for our dog during thunderstorms, which he gets terrified of.
