It made my hair soft and much easier to comb through. It also helped with frizziness. The texture is nice and thick so it's easy to apply. The scent isn't my favorite but it's ok and just sort of a generic shampoo/conditioner smell and I like it better once my hair is dry.

It was a little heavy on my hair and I felt it weighed it down some. With that said, I do feel like it did a great job making my hair feel soft and moisturized. I love the scent of this. It's the fresh original dove scent. While I don't think this will be good for me for everyday use, I do think I will use it once a week or so as a deep conditioner.

However, more curly hair may benefit more from leave-in conditioners. My only complaint with this product is the packaging. While I love pump dispensers, this one didn't work. It was so difficult to get the pump to pop up, but it dispensed no product. No matter how much I pushed it.
