We bought these dishes about six months ago. We use them everyday and we clean them in the dishwasher. So far they have held up very well for porcelain. We do have some chipped dishes, but only a few. In our experience porcelain dishes are more chip resistant than stoneware. Since the price for this set is excellent, we purchased an extra set to put in storage so that we have some replacements for broken pieces or ones that are chipped to the extent that they can't be used. We really like the large saucer like bowls. If you make a lot of bowl meals (burrito bowls, Mediterranean bowls, etc.) you will love these! They are similar to the size you would find in a restaurant. Overall, we are very pleased with the price, performance and size of these dish sets!!

Rough edges, cracks on bottoms of dishes.

We have had this set for about a year now. We are a family of 10 so we purchased 3. We love the oversized bowls for pastas and dinner salads. We mostly use the smaller plates with all the kids and they are perfect. Some of the smaller bowls get chips but I blame that on my 11 year old and her dish loading skills, or lack of. It's no problem because I figure I'll just buy a box a year at $24, to replace the chipped ones. I'm about to order another box now. I do wish I could just order individual replacements so I might reach out to members mark before I order, but really at this price it doesn't matter. I highly recommend!

I purchased 2 sets for my family of 6. We didn't need mugs so this was perfect. They wash beautifully in the DW. I like the way the feel, sturdy and smooth. The bowls are kind of small, but that doesn't bother me. The bowl/plates are great for pasta or soups. Shipped perfectly, overall happy.

I bought these for the oversized bowls but didn't think I'd love them so much! Salads, pastas, stews and the like fit perfectly in those bowls. The dinner plates, regular bowls and small plates are just as great. They clean up nicely, no stains from past sauces, etc. and no sratches. I haven't chipped one yet and we use our tableware. Great value for the price. I believe another reviewer commented on the lack of coffee mugs... I also like that there are none in the set.
