I brought two fans and it was a good investment for me. I've had my fans for over four years. I just ordered two more today. I don't turn on my A/C in the summer and it gets extremely hot in Ga. One fan cooled off my living room and the other fan went in my bedroom. They still blow hard and strong I just need one for each of my kids room for the summer and at Sam's Club there the cheapest. I did my research. Ok Pros: they are durable and still blows strong. I love that they come with a timer and remote control. Cons: to heavy/big; the remote stop working 2yrs into use; on one of the fans it doesn't rotate anymore; the cord is too short; and last but not least the lever to adjust the open and close valve they stop working three years after I had it so I had to open them with a knife when I wanted to adjust the opening. All in all they are durable and the air still blows cool and hard. I hope this helps everyone.

These things are great. The last one I had in the living room of my apartment and it SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the amount of AC I had to run in the summer ( hot, humid Louisiana and Texas summers for perspective). Other than turning it off maybe once a month just to relocate it, it ran 24 hrs a day for about 5 years with no problems. Only reason I got rid of it was because I moved and didn't need it anymore. I give it 4 stars because it is quite loud, but don't be discouraged, this thing blows quite a bit of air and definitely will cool a room, although I advise against using it in a bedroom or small room because the noise will definitely becoming irritating after a while. (Unless you like white/background noise then this will work great) I'm leaving this review because I'm about to buy another one. If you live in a hot climate, this is the best $70 you could spend to fight the heat.

This fan worked great when purchased. I had seen it at a friends home, and really liked it. However, after purchasing 2 of these, both lost their oscillating function after the 1st summer. Now, have to buy more of something that might work longer. Cheaper may be better

Purchased two of these fans. They worked great for a couple of years then they both stopped oscillating and husband was very disappointed in their performance. No parts list, cannot attempt to fix it yourself. Once it stops oscillating there's nothing you can do about it.

In March, I bought two. Both blow hard andnever had a chemical smell. They also had been banged up in shipping. However, these 3 more I bought in May smell like a chemical plant and one cracked in shipping. The new ones don't blow as hard as the ones bought in March.

This fan is powerful but it stopped oscillating. I purchased this fan and the Lasko Ultra Air 48" 3-Speed Performance Tower Fan. The tower fan is not as powerful. The velocity fan stopped oscillating after less than a month of use. I plan on exchanging it.

This is the 4th Lasko tower fan I’ve purchased and I absolutely love them. Family loves them also.

They provide plenty of air movement

Best fan I have ever had.

Fan was broken and had to be returned
