I brought two fans and it was a good investment for me. I've had my fans for over four years. I just ordered two more today. I don't turn on my A/C in the summer and it gets extremely hot in Ga. One fan cooled off my living room and the other fan went in my bedroom. They still blow hard and strong I just need one for each of my kids room for the summer and at Sam's Club there the cheapest. I did my research. Ok Pros: they are durable and still blows strong. I love that they come with a timer and remote control. Cons: to heavy/big; the remote stop working 2yrs into use; on one of the fans it doesn't rotate anymore; the cord is too short; and last but not least the lever to adjust the open and close valve they stop working three years after I had it so I had to open them with a knife when I wanted to adjust the opening. All in all they are durable and the air still blows cool and hard. I hope this helps everyone.

This fan is powerful but it stopped oscillating. I purchased this fan and the Lasko Ultra Air 48" 3-Speed Performance Tower Fan. The tower fan is not as powerful. The velocity fan stopped oscillating after less than a month of use. I plan on exchanging it.

This fan worked great when purchased. I had seen it at a friends home, and really liked it. However, after purchasing 2 of these, both lost their oscillating function after the 1st summer. Now, have to buy more of something that might work longer. Cheaper may be better

Quiet yet powerful

We purchased two of these fans last year to assist in cooling the house. We wanted a fan that wasn't too noisy and did a good job in cooling a room. So far this fan has done a good job. I like the space saving design and the multiple features the fan has. We also hope to decrease our overall electric bill with the assistance of the fans. I would buy this product again.

I own a couple of these fans and they are several years old. I did not hesitate to purchase from Lasko again. BUT when I received this fan the motor seemed loose as it banged around inside. So I returned it to get another one and they were out of the large size so I ended up with the smaller version. When I got it home it to had a banging inside. Now I must return it too. I live 90 miles from a Sam's Club so this is a BIG deal to me.

This fan worked great when purchased last year. I started before I go to bed. But it stopped blowing air middle of night. It is still under warranty. I called customer support 3 times on 3 different day and every time recording was keep playing. Customer support is horrible.

This is the 4th Lasko tower fan I’ve purchased and I absolutely love them. Family loves them also.

I like the design and the great output.
