These were deserving of an average score in my opinion. They tasted ok but because they arent all the same size or shape, they cook differently. The smallest strips ended up so hard and crunchy that they were hardly edible. And the bigger strips didnt crisp up as much and the crust was a little soggy. I bought these for something different but I wont be purchasing them again.

Something has gone horribly wrong

It's been well over a year, maybe even two years, since I last ate Tyson's chicken strips, and I am still just as disappointed. Tyson's has gone from being my favorite brand, to being the brand I'll only buy if I'm desperate. I don't KNOW what happened to this chicken but the quality has simply tanked. The smell is unappetizing, the breading has an odd aftertaste and the chicken itself is just soft, to the point of almost being mushy - just the complete opposite of crispy. I don't know if this is just a local issue or what but unless something is done I simply can't justify paying for this product anymore.

Vegetable Oil is NOT an ingredient

Vegetable oil is not an ingredient…. It is a mystery box for people who are focused on being “cheap” rather than delivering consistent quality. I can eat everything on the planet EXCEPT sunflower oil which is being added to more and more commercial food. Please list the ACTUAL ingredients so that people with allergies can make a choice.

Too much breading. Need Tyson's other chicken back

I have bought these twice since Covid started, only because Sam's Club quit selling the other Tyson chicken strips that must be cooked. I will not buy them again. They are very heavily breaded and precooked, but you still must cook them as long as you do the raw ones. Many pieces in the bag are just chunks of breading with no actual chicken inside all of them breading. Since they are precooked, the breading gets overcooked and is very hard.

Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family absolutely loves Tyson Crispy chicken strips! We have always loved Tyson chicken strips but now they are even better! The crispness is perfect! I cooked the chicken strips in my air fryer, absolutely delicious! Thank you Tyson for another amazing product!

Buy the County Pride chicken tenders instead

Buy the Country Pride brand uncooked frozen chicken tenders instead at Sam's. They may take 4 times longer to cook,( 7-8 minutes in a deep fryer) but you get 4 times more chicken instead of breading, and they are decent size pieces. These chicken strips are small and are mostly breading with lots of little pieces in the bottom of the bag. Might be good for home use, but are an embarrassment to serve at a retail level.

Confused about the taste

We purchase these strips all the time. Our kids love them. We purchased some more two days ago and I just cooked the entire bag for our family. As we are eating them we notice they tasted like smoke. I checked our oven to see if there was something in there that was left by accident and caused the smokiness. Oven was clean. I took the bag and when I smelled the bag it also smelled of smoke. We are confused as to if this is a change with the chicken or if we needed up with a bad bag?

My kids love these strips. They are very crispy and taste great. You can bake them (microwaved, they get soggy) and either use them as an entree or cut them up and put them into salads and they are delicious! My ONLY complaint is that they are pricey and you don't get a whole lot in the bag. For my family of 6 we need 3 to 4 bags if using as an entree and I want everyone to get plenty. If using specifically for salads, you can get by with 1 to 2.

The Chicken Strips are Different

When I think of chicken tenders I think of something that is cheap and mid and pretty ok but these, well these are different. When I saw these I was thinking that these chicken tenders will be alright and just something quick to eat. When these made contact to my mouth, it was like the first man stepping on the moon, it was astronomical the way the flavor burst into my mouth. At this point they are not even chicken tenders, they are hand flaked breaded animal meat that is served with a side of exquisite tomato (pronounced like toe-mot-o) juices hand squoze and mixed by a spoon of sapphire. If there was a chicken tender simulator and we got the best chicken tender this would be the one that would take years of prestiging and tapping and upgrading to get. This is a masterpiece. The End.

Good crispy chicken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the fresh taste and the crunchiness of the coating. Can be a tad greasy but not bad at all. Use at a slightly higher temperature to achieve crispiness. My kids love them with ketchup. Worth the purchase!
