I thought this came assembled. Not sure if I misread the description. Overall it is good and has held up for the past month but one of the pieces was slightly bent and now it is not securely put together because of it. Not sure if that'll make a difference in the long run but returning it seemed like a lot of work.

While the box spring was easy to assemble and easy to move prior to assembly due to its unassembled size, the wooden slats were/are seemingly thin (only almost 0.5” thick). They seem flimsy. If there was a support down the middle of the length of the box spring, the flimsiness of the wood wouldn’t seem like a big deal. But there is no metal support down the middle. Also, I couldn’t find the weight limit for this product in the description online… not sure if this was really meant for an adult or a child (I bought the twin size for an adult). I just hope it stands up to the weight of an adult plus the mattress weight. I was expecting something more heavy duty.

We ordered this box spring online. We were a little hesitant as This is the first time we ordered a boxspring on the Internet. It arrived sooner than expected which was great, however the box was beat up on both ends and there were holes/openings on both ends. Luckily when we open the box everything inside was just fine. It took us less than one hour to put this boxspring together, and the directions were very straightforward. Overall we are pleased with this box spring and the price

Can't believe that a box spring that comes out of a 12" X 12" X 78" box works so well

Was skeptical about putting together a box spring, but decided to try it because the price is very good. Well now, it is just as sturdy as traditional box spring. Adding nine inches of height, it also is nice looking.

Just what we needed. We are mounting our headboard to the wall and wanted to be higher off the ground. Works perfectly. The cover is nice but not good for show. We’ll need a bed skirt to cover the swirls

very nice, you do have to put it together yourself but its easy to do, no more sounds with getting in and out of the bed I'm glad I got it me and my mom have ordered this box spring and I'm going to order one for my son.

Easy to assemble. Love the removable, washable cover. Also love the fact that this will last for years and can be easily disassembled if we move. No more buying cheap foundations that collect dust and inevitably end up on a landfill.

Assembling the metal box spring was as simple as A, B, C. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes to complete assembly, and this was solely because I was being extra meticulous. I have owned wood box springs in the past and this metal upgrade (if I can call it that), certainly seems sturdier and I suspect likely to be more durable. I assigned 4 stars simply because I cannot predict what condition it will be in after the first year and beyond.

Metal box spring is exactly what i was hoping it would be. All parts were there, it is easy to assemble and is well made. The bolt holes all line up and they supply extra bolts just in case. It helps to have two people to move the assembled unit as its kind of heavy. Sam's price was 100.00 less than anywhere else.
