Excellent flavor and texture

Surprised how good this salmon was. Good color throughout and so mild.

I was searching for a replacement for the Lat 45 roasted smoked salmon to make my own bagel spread. This did the trick. It's full of flavor right down to the smoky salmon oil that helped to really carry the flavor thru my spread. I still prefer the Lat 45 as it is easier to portion out and is already flaked out for easy mixing. If you prefer slices for your purpose, I highly recommend this. I did try the "honey smoked" product but it carried too much sweetness for my taste. However, it was closer to Lat 45 in texture.

This cut of Salmon is good. A little bit on the fishy side. I actually prefer the thinner cut salmon same brand.

I didn't like this product because it was too salty.

Not bad... It was my first time having salmon this way. It was really salty... so much so that I didn't season my side of broccoli that I paired with it to help cut the taste. I found myself kind of over it by the time I got to the end of my plate. I'm not mad at it, but not sure I would buy again with the way I like to eat salmon.

I have been eating Smoked Salmon for 65 years and this is the VERY best I've ever had. It's tender, creamy and perfectly flavorful.
