[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of Downy for a very long time. I have tried less expensive brands but it comes out of the bottle looking like blue colored water. Downy makes my clothes soft and wrinkle free and smelling nice. It makes everything static free and makes the clothing fibers last longer. A little bit seems to go a long way, so even though Downy may cost more, the bottle lasts a long time. I usually choose the Clean Breeze scent because the name itself is so refreshing. I recently tried April Fresh for the first time and I am quite impressed with the scent from the moment I opened the bottle to the clothes I am wearing now that I washed yesterday. I am planning on sticking to Downy April Fresh for all my future laundry needs.

No more static cling which is a big plus for me, Everything smells so great my towels look and smell great everything looks and smells so much better. I've noticed a brighter look to my clothes and linens also.

Normally I just use fabric sheets in the dryer, but I decided to give this a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did my clothes feel softer but they also had a lot less static than using fabric sheets. I really enjoyed the April Fresh scent as well. I did receive this product for free, but this review is my own opinion.

I used to be a faithful Downy user. No more. First of all, if you shake it as the directions say, it pours out all over the place, not just from the spout. But the absolutely worst thing about it is that for some reason, it now leaves big blue spots all over my sheets and clothes. Sure they go away when I wash them again, but who wants that? I have tried many other fabric softeners and Downy is the only one that has ever left spots on my clothes. I've been using the "cheap" April fresh Downy since all the other products are ridiculously expensive in my opinion. I live alone so am only doing the wash for one person, but even so, I can find a lot better uses for the money I would spend on all the other Downy products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mom used Downy April Fresh ever since I can remember! We had the freshest smelling clothes in the whole school maybe the whole neighborhood! I often wonder, after getting married, if Mom followed the directions or if she used as much as she wanted so that they kept the smell and then one nice summer day I found out for myself that she did! Maybe she did use a bit more but only when she had to get the fresh scent we were all so used to! She had a dryer but she still chose to hang them out in the fresh air, weather permitting, naturally, which may have helped them retain such a beautiful scent. With her washing for the 6 of us and her twin Brother, whose wife left him, with 4 little girls, she would have gone broke if she over did it, affordable or not. Mom is no longer with us but the smell of her laundry softened with Downy still lingers, after all these years,in all of our memories. When she'd buy my four Daughters clothes she'd wash them first and the girls just loved how they smelled. I think,it meant more to them, then then the outfit itself. I, too, use Downy, like my Mom, but the smell doesn't seem to linger for me the way it did when she used it, but the memories sure do.(I don't hang them outside though either) The smell of Downy, to All of us, is one we associate with Love, or as we call it Mom's Special Love! We have many beautiful memories of Mom, but not many memories of anyone else we know or have heard others speak of also carry a scent that's carried along with the memories, especially ones of your Laundry with you for 15 years now and associate it with a Special Love no one else could eve fill!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April fresh what a wonderful laundry experience, I wasn't expecting this Downy April fresh to be this good, I love the aroma not overpowering and my clothes didn't come out looking wrinkly and being all staticy this is my new laundry regiment Downy April fresh love at first use definitely my go-to for a liquid fabric softener.

The first thing I noticed was the scent, it smells really good and the scent lasts long. I'm someone who has to do at least 4 loads of laundry each week and I usually use a scent booster, but with this I have no need to. That's great because it ends up being one less thing I have to buy!

I also noticed that it helped with stretching and it also made my towels super soft! I only wish the scent lasted a little longer, but considering I have stinky dogs that may be the problem.

The scent is very pleasant and not too strong, it lasts for weeks too. I like the consistency of the softner It isn't too runny.It leaves clothes, blanket and towels super soft and static free. I noticed compared to other softeners there is less wrinkling after being dried, which is another plus! Definetly would recommend to anyone and will continue to use for sure.
