Very competitive price

This is a Walmart/Sams product. Last year, 50 lbs. sold at Sams Club for this same price. This year, the club sells 40 lbs for the same price. Obviously, this product from Walmart--at 50 lbs-- is less expensive per pound, and as a multi-year user, I'm always satisfied that it works.

The price for this 50 lb tub is fantastic. We have priced out this shock with several vendors and found Walmart to have the BEST price. Same product, just more reasonably priced.

Good product, great price!

Been buying chlorine for my pool for over 30 years. This is the first time from this seller but so far, everything is great - 99% sodium dichlor, at a great price (significantly less than my usual source) and shipped free.

Best of the best

THE best pool chemicals we've ever used. We've been using them now for three summers and it's as easy as putting a few scoops in at night, walking away, and vacuuming the next day. It keeps the water crystal clear. If you haven't bought it, do so now.

New User

This is the first time that I have used this product instead of the regular calcium chloride. I like it because it is always better in this easier on my vinyl lined pool but it lowers the pH pretty dramatically and I had to fight a battle with that. Because it dissolves better I'll probably keep using it but I'm not sure it's as good as the calcium chloride.

Price is high, but it is a good product.

Of all the pool products you sell I find this one to be the best. I can make an immediate difference in my pool using these granules. I also buy your pucks but I do not find the quality to be as high. I rated this product 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel the price is higher than it should be coming from Sam's Club. There are other places I can get a higher quality product for close to the same price.

OK

I thought I would give it a shot. I love having a large container of granule that I can easily dispense into the pool. Local pool stores charge a fortune for a container this size and internet based stores kill you on shipping. So picking up this product at my local Sam's for a good price was enticing. However the reviews are accurate that you will use more than an anticipated amount to gain proper levels. Based on the more expensive name brand providers that require less dosage, I probably will end up breaking even on the purchase or perhaps losing slightly. Not worth a poor review but bear this in mind.

Terrible and ineffective chlorine.

These chlorinating granules are terrible. Nowhere in the description does it mention that this is "Sodium Dichloro-s-Triazinetrione Hydrated". It is very ineffective in getting rid of the green color from algae. And it contains a high amount of cyanuric acid (pool stabilizer). When this builds up, the chlorine becomes less effective, and more has to be added, which adds even more cyanuric acid. And the vicious circle continues. Calcium Hypochlorite is the best chlorine granules. I would not have bought this had I known what it is. I did return it.

Member's Mark Chlorinating Granules

The scooper was missing and the content seems less as it was about 2/3 full of contents and with some solidified. I did not even had to break the tamper seal to open it up.
