My grandson was thrilled to have gotten this set. He loved the idea of having two in one. He likes playing with them and when they collide he builds them back.

Child had fun building and set has great playability.

WalMart always carries great product brands

This was a fun set to build with my 9 and 7 year old. They loved playing with it when it was complete.

These are slightly bigger than I expected and even better quality. I hung them from the ceiling with some hooks and fishing line, which really brought them to life. If I could find anything bad to say, it would be that I wish the instruction manual to build had more accurate colors. The white blocks look grey and the grey blocks look black, then the black and grey blocks look sort of similar. Maybe just better quality paper to print on? Regardless of the instructions, I loved this build and I would recommend.

Birthday gift for my grandson. I allow my grandson %26 granddaughter shop on line.. They put what they want in the shopping cart. Then I pick what I can afford. It works great. They always get something they want! Makes it easy on me %26 they love it!!!

I’ve built a ton of the x wing and tie fighter sets. My kiddo is super into Star Wars. So I wasnt expecting to be very excited with this build. However, I was pleasantly surprised! There were some new build design mechanics, part utilizations etc. so while it felt exactly like building an x wing and tie fighter, there was enough difference in design to keep it interesting.

Love this set! Such a cool build, and unique in how you can recombine the TIE and X-Wing components to make “uglies”, as some in the Star Wars community call them. The minifigure selection is really nice, and I think it’s certainly much more appreciated for those who have watched the LEGO Star Wars Rebuild the Galaxy Special on Disney . It’s not too difficult of a build, and thankfully, from what I can remember, not too many stickers either. Great set for kids and adults alike!

The TIE fighter is great, super solid and looks great. The X-Wing would be just as good except that the taper of the nose is achieved by leaving a long flat part slightly bent. After just a couple weeks that part was permanently deformed and won't lie flat anymore

The lego was great. The poor review and 1-star is for Walmart. I paid $100 for this lego only to receive the toy with a clearance sticker that showed 1/3 the price I paid. Shame on you Walmart, why would I pay 3x online when someone else in the store paid much less? Not buying through Walmart online anymore.
