I have had this safe a year, probably opened it 7 times. Now I finally got it open after 4 months of trying an now it will not lock. the locking poles will not go back in for me to shut it. Not happy at all!

Currently can't even get into the safe because the handle won't actually open the safe. I wish I had never bought this somewhat expensive safe as now I have to pay for a locksmith to actually open the safe to allow access.

this is my second sentry safe. upgraded to a larger unit to store more items. I had good service out of my first unit so I purchased the same manufacturer.

Safe works like it is supposed to and has easy straight forward functions. Perfect size for what i need it for to keep my miscellaneous things all together.

Though the safe secures your valuables, it needs a better handle than the loose wobbly cheap handle that you are afraid to put too much pressure on. In the back of my mind I see myself calling a locksmith to open the safe after breaking the handle.

Oddly enough, in the set up videos on the website is a video showing how easy it is to break into this safe!! Use your key, forget the tech, and just put paperwork in there- not valuables.

There were dents in the back of the safe. Also seen white scratches inside the safe (in the top). Also there was a empty ziplock small cover that was in open. I guess it supposed to be the safe locks. Safe locks seen in top rack without any cover, may be it was someone opened it and I got the opened/returned safe ? not the new one?? This is not good at all. Also the keypad doesn't open right after the code, I need to enter 3-4 times to open the safe. Safe locks to move it from unlock to lock, lock to unlock is so tight that its not easy to turn it. Its a heavy box, I don't know how I can return it to the store? but I need refund for my product.

The safe arrived with a big dent on the back & the handle was broken off. I called SentrySafe, they said they couldn’t replace the damaged safe but they could send me a clip to fix the broken handle. WHAT??? A clip to repair a broken handle? I purchased a new safe & it arrived damaged with the handle in the bottom of the box & you want to send me a clip to repair it??? What about sending me a safe with NO DENTS & the HANDLE IN TACT. SentrySafe wants to send me a clip? NO THANKS! I had to call Sam’s Club to request a refund. All I can say it WOW…

Ordered online and when arrived the handle was already broken. The handle is not sturdy at all, seems to be made of hard plastic layered with plastic coating. Doesn't look like the handle would last long at all if someone where to pull down hard on it or just wear out within a few months.
