I’m not sure if this toothpaste is a good deal or not, considering it’s about 50% air. It’s about half the product for more money.

Price is very reasonable

Used to buy whatever toothpaste was on sale but not anymore. My dentist recommended Crest Pro-Health and this toothpaste makes a difference. Less cavities, fresh breath, great experience.

The tube design is great! It stand vertically by itself with a swing top - so there’s no more dropping the top when opening the tooth paste. Actual product works very well and has a creamy texture not a gritty texture.

I don’t know if I like this new tube. I like how they made the old tubes. I feel like they get away with not filling up the tube all the way. If the tube is an environmentally good way to go, I’m all for it. Does anyone know why they make tubes out of different substances now?

Nice breath freshening flavor. Importantly it has stannous fluoride protecting against cavities, gingivitis, plaque, sensitive teeth, tartar buildup. While it contains 0.454% stannous fluoride, it's reportedly formulated to deliver the same concentration of fluoride ions (1100 ppm F-) as the 0.243% sodium fluoride in other Crest products. Lastly is was recommended by my DDS.

My student dentist recently recommended this specific toothpaste to me, saying he has his wife use it as well, due to the ingredient of stannous fluoride (SF). I believed fluoride was basically the same across toothpastes. He maintained SF applies the toothpaste deeper into the teeth for a stronger enamel. I expect students to have the latest and best information at hand. I like the taste and it certainly foams well, although I'm not crazy about SLS as this detergent since it can irritate mouth sores and stomatitis. I'm prone to mouth sores but haven't had an issue after switching my toothpaste. My caution also extended to Carrageenan, which is used as a thickening agent and is FDA-approved but may cause gut or intestinal inflammation. I don't like it in my cats' foods, so I wish this would be eliminated. Unlike my cats and their foods, I don't SWALLOW or eat my toothpaste. In the end, I rate this 5 stars, based on my student dentist's recommendation and my personal preferences for foaming, feeling that my teeth are clean, and liking the taste.
